Weekly Meetings!
September 23rd, 2010Price of Life
April 4th, 2010
On April 18th, the largest campaign against human trafficking Ohio State has ever seen will begin. The Price of Life Invitational is a week-long series of events and conversations engaging the campus and the Columbus community on the issue of human trafficking.
Did you know…
- that there are over 27 million people in slavery today?
- that there are more slaves in the world right now than there were in the sum of the trans-Atlantic slave trade?
- that the human trafficking industry generates more than $42 billion a year?
- that you can do something about it?
Bring your friends, bring your roommates and floormates, bring your coworkers and your student organizations and join us in the fight against human trafficking. Rally around the issue at Parade of Tears on April 18th, learn more about the issues involved from the experts at the Town Hall meeting on the 19th, and definitely come wrap up the week at the Price of Life Main Event on Thursday the 22nd.
If you have any questions or would like to partner your organization with this campaign, please check out the website or email us.
